First 50 MHz qso's i made with 4 watts home made transverter and vertical antenna. Interesting thing is during that summer the most of the stations were heard and worked without any problem were from South Africa.
In contests i am part of Z3A contest team.
We had very good location 2.000 meters above the sea level about 40 km away the city.
From this place we made very good results in the biggest contests.
Interesting thing is that we are almost every year in top 3 - category multi operator. In past 10 years we've been 3 times nr.1 in the world.
